Coming off a first place finish at EARC Sprints last Sunday, Penn lightweight rowing has been honored in the Ivy League.

The Varsity Eight was named to the first team All-Ivy. Freshman coxswain Julianna Langhorn, junior Dominique Williams, junior Colley Loum, freshman Aleksandar Izda, sophomore Alex Beheshti, sophomore Ed Barry, freshman Neel Vallurupalli, sophomore Justin Meeker, and junior Alexander Bowlby make up the nine members of the boat.

Notably, the Varsity Eight’s win at Sprints qualified them to compete in the Henley Regatta in London from July 3-7.

Head coach Colin Farrell was honored as Ivy League Lightweight Coach of the Year. This is the first time Farrell has received this title in his six years as head coach.

Next up for the Quakers is the IRA National Championship Regatta. It will take place from May 31 to June 2 in Sacramento, Calif.
