Sophomore and resident meteorologist Elyas Tecle gives his predictions for the weekend's weather.

Saturday: High 92º, Chance of T'storms

Sunday: High: 84º, Cooler w/ Chance of T'storms

A warm spell has engulfed the region for the last few days and will continue to spread above-average temperatures across campus through the weekend. Saturday will be the hottest of the two days with highs area-wide that will reach 90+ once again. On top of the heat and humidity, there is a chance of thunderstorms from today through the end of the weekend. Sunday will be the better of the two days with high temperatures sinking into the mid-80's, making for a more bearable end to the weekend. However, the chance of storms will linger through the day. More seasonal weather comes our way by the beginning of the work week as temperatures dip even further into the low-80's.
