Here’s a story about how my Penn life started.
Even though I have only a moderate appreciation for nature, I decided to do PennQuest. This turned out to be a great decision, in part because when my group passed through a park called Worthington State, I became its self-declared governor!! Since Worthington State is just hills, and is actually part of New Jersey, it has no official government— except for me, for the two days I was there. That has been my experience in politics so far.
But I want to do more than just a brief stint as fake gov. That’s why I’m running for the UA— because it is real, first of all, and because it would give me the opportunity to implement good changes for Penn.
In all seriousness, I have the humor, personality, and energy to make a great New Student Rep. vote #katmckay4UA!
