Saludos compa?eros! Born and raised in the suburbs of Southern California and now on to a bustling urban campus across the country, the first few weeks of being at Penn have been some getting used to. The immense amount of opportunities, resources, and not to mention the clubs are truly incredible; which is why being able to represent the UPenn class of 2016 in the Undergraduate Assembly as a Freshman Representative would be a great interactive and learning experience. Working hand-in-hand with administrators and other staff about the issues/concerns affecting our daily lives, as well as managing student organizations, is an exciting responsibility that can essentially improve our four years at Penn. If elected, I intend to bring more diversity to student government and an enthusiastic attitude to meet all the needs of my fellow classmates. So, remember to vote YES for Yessenia!
