Hi, I’m Jake Shuster “the Money Booster,” and I’m excited to be running for UA President. As Civic and Philadelphia Engagement Director and Treasurer, I have achieved tangible results. For example, I created a campus-wide Skimmer (which will happen next year for the first time), expanded SAC’s budget by 7.5%, which will give your student groups’ budgets more flexibility, and am making significant progress on a mobile payment solution, which will let you buy student group tickets and merchandise on Locust with credit cards. These were things that you wanted, and I helped to make a reality. I am dedicated to continue giving you what you want, whether it’s increased flexibility over course requirements, a campus-wide bike share program, late night dining options or a more useful Penn Transit.
