The Quakers have landed their fourth recruit in what is a rapidly growing Class of 2011.
Jack Eggleston, a 6-foot-8 forward, has verbally committed to Glen Miller's program, according to The Miami Herald.
Eggleston, out of St. Thomas Aquinas in South Florida, averaged 8.7 rebounds and eight points per game as a junior last year.
"I was up there for homecoming, and people were coming out in droves because they care so much about football and athletics in Philadelphia. I am really looking forward to the winning tradition that Penn has for the next four years,'' he told the paper.
"There was no way I could pass up the incredible combination of academics and basketball that Penn provided.''
Eggleston joins a recruiting class that already contained California guards Tyler Bernardini and Harrison Gaines and small forward Danny Monckton from suburban Chicago.
