ORONO, Maine -- Huggy Dye scored 20 points and Julian Dunkley added 19 to lead five starters in double digits as Maine beat Brown 92-82 on Sunday. Brown (0-2) came within five points of Maine in the second half and was down 74-66 with five minutes to play. But Maine's defense, which produced 21 steals, kept Brown from closing the gap. Dunkley scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half. Jackson finished with 18 points, Andy Bedard 16 and Nate Fox 15 for Maine. Brown was led by Alaivaa Nuualiitia, who finished the game with 25 points. Brown's Earl Hunt chipped in 21. BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Dan Clemente scored 20 points and Harvard was 6-of-7 shooting from three-point range in the second half as the Crimson rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit and defeated Lehigh 72-62 on Saturday. Andrew Gellert added seven rebounds and 17 points, including a career-high three three-pointers, while Tim Coleman tallied 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench for Harvard (3-0). Fido Willyboro's 19 points paced Lehigh (1-2), which led the Crimson by as much as 12 points and held them to 9-of-26 shooting (35 percent) in the first half. Bobby Willis added a career-high 14 points for the Mountain Hawks. NEW YORK -- Sophomore forward Joe Case scored a career-high 20 points to lead Columbia to a 77-41 rout of Division III Stevens Tech Saturday night. Stevens Tech (0-4), took a brief 19-18 lead on Christian Gavina's three-point shot with 8:36 left in the first half. But Craig Austin led a 10-2 burst by scoring five of his 11 points as the Lions moved to a 28-21 lead with 4:40 to go. Pat Hernandez added 11 points for Columbia (1-2). Jeffrey Houser led the Ducks with 14 points. DURHAM, N.H. -- Freshman Marcelle Williams scored 20 points and Colin Donahue added 15 as New Hampshire pulled away to a 75-57 victory over cross-state rival Dartmouth on Friday night. Shaun Gee, who had 25 for Dartmouth (2-2), hit a three-pointer to start the second half and trim New Hampshire's lead to 36-33. But the Wildcats (1-2) scored the next 11 points and Dartmouth never got closer than seven again. Williams and Donahue each hit their four free throws in the final 3:28 as the Wildcats pulled away. With the game tied 4-4, New Hampshire went on an 11-2 run, keyed by Williams' two three-pointers and an assist. Dartmouth got within four at 20-16 but never caught up. Dartmouth hit only 4-of-30 from three-point range and 32 percent overall. DENVER -- Tom Starkey scored 18 points and Arthur Ireland and Wahhab Carter each added 15 as the University of Denver edged Yale 72-69 here Friday night. Denver (1-0) actually had a lower shooting rate than Yale (1-3) but attempted 21 more shots than the visiting Elis (70-49) in the game to take a 32-29 lead at the half and then hold on for the win. Chris Leanza scored 15 points to lead Yale, while Neil Yanke was his only teammate in double figures with 11 points. Denver shot 34 percent from the field in the game, to nearly 47 percent for Yale. But Denver made 24-of-70, including 6-of-20 from long range, to Yale's 23-of-49 shooting, including 3-of-11 from three-point range. BOULDER, Colo. -- Jaquay Walls had 16 points and four assists and Jamahl Mosley added 15 points and nine rebounds as Colorado remained unbeaten with a 65-50 victory over Yale Thursday night. Colorado (3-0) shot a season-low 32 percent from the field, but outrebounded Yale (1-2) 52-36 and had 25 offensive rebounds. Freshman Richard Fox injured his right knee late in the first half and never returned. Neil Yanke had 13 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots for Yale. Yanke, who fouled out with 3:53 left in the game, was the only player for Yale, which led 12-4 to start the game, to reach double figures. Yale played with Colorado in the first half and trailed 32-25 at halftime despite shooting 35 percent the field and turning the ball over 10 times. Chris Leanza's three-pointer with 4:25 left gave Yale a 21-19 lead, but Mosley, who had seven points in the half, tied it at 21-21 for Colorado with a put-back off a missed basket. Walls scored four points in the last 2:24.
