Darah Ross The only senior on the team, Darah Ross -- who also played lacrosse at Penn -- co-captained the squad and graduated as the all-time leading scorer in Quakers history with 57 points. Ross believes that two early season games -- a 3-1 loss to No. 6 Duke and a 9-0 loss to eventual national champion and No. 1 North Carolina -- helped the Quakers gain focus before their Ivy season. · Darah Ross: I had a lot of fun my senior year. I think that my favorite memory was when we played against North Carolina and Duke in a tournament at the very beginning of the year. We played Duke first and it was a really good game and I think that we surprised a lot of people. Then we played North Carolina and the score was 9-0 at the end of the game. I think that was probably one of the most exciting games I've played in because this summer I went to the women's World Cup and looking out there and seeing some of the players we played against? and I think that the game got us ready for the rest of our season because we weren't going to play anyone else that tough throughout the season. It helped us out the rest of our season and we ended up doing really well and came in second in the Ivies.? We only lost to two teams in the Ivies after losing to almost everyone for the two years before that. I have a lot of memories from that season but just being able to play against a team like UNC was pretty exciting.
