PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ronald Jean rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns as Lehigh beat Princeton 31-0 Saturday night. It was the Tigers' worst home loss since a 37-0 defeat to Northwestern in 1986, one year before Steve Tosches became head coach. This is also Princeton's first 0-2 start overall and 0-2 start at home since '86. Princeton has not scored a touchdown in '99. HANOVER, N.H. -- Ryan Vena threw three touchdown passes to Joe Parker, including one with 28 seconds left in the first half, to lead Colgate to a 35-3 win Saturday over Dartmouth (0-2). With the game tied 3-3, Vena and Parker hooked up on a nine-yard pass with 12:42 gone in the second period. After Colgate (3-1) recovered a fumble by Dartmouth quarterback Brian Mann, Parker made an acrobatic catch at the end of a 22-yard pass play with 1:50 remaining. NEW YORK -- Norman Hayes and Chris Schaefer scored 10 seconds apart as Columbia converted two fourth-quarter turnovers into touchdowns for a 28-13 victory over Towson on Saturday. Jason Bivens forced a fumble by Towson quarterback Joe Lee that was recovered by the Lions' Greg Bowman at the Tigers' 29. Hayes scored nine plays later, before Darnell Evans fumbled the ensuing kickoff and Schaefer ran the recovery in from the 11. Hayes rushed for 124 yards on 22 carries to account for nearly half of the Lions' 253 yards of total offense. Towson (3-1) led 13-7 midway through the third quarter before Jeff McCall threw a 10-yard scoring pass to fullback John Cavanaugh to give Columbia (1-1) a 14-13 lead. WORCESTER, Mass. -- Brad Wilford threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third to pace Harvard to a 25-17 win over Holy Cross on Saturday. The Crimson (2-0), who trailed 14-3 after one quarter, fought off a final drive in the last minute by Holy Cross to ensure the win. Trailing 18-14 at halftime, the Crusaders (2-1) cut the lead to 18-17 in the third quarter on a 39-yard field goal by Frank Traupman. But on the Crusaders' next possession, James Conrow fumbled a lateral on his own 12-yard line, setting up Wilford's decisive 12-yard touchdown run and putting the Crimson on top, 25-17. ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ricky Rahne threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns to lead Cornell to a 42-14 win over Fordham Saturday. Halfback Deon Harris had 143 yards on 21 carries, including a 53-yard breakaway, as Cornell totaled 468 yards in total offense while holding Fordham to 278 yards. In its first series Cornell (2-0) drove 61 yards in five plays finished by Rahne's pass to wide receiver Edgar Romney for a 31-yard touchdown. Rahne threw two more first-half touchdowns, one for four yards to fullback Justin Dunleavy and a seven-yard pass to wide receiver Joe Splendorio after an interception by Cornell's John Algo, to give Cornell a 21-7 lead. PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Brown spotted Lafayette a 7-0 lead on the first play from scrimmage but rebounded to score 28 straight points before halftime and went on to win 35-28 Saturday. Four different players rushed for touchdowns for the Bears (2-0), who have won eight straight games dating back to last year. The opening score for Lafayette (0-2) came when linebacker Jon Fistner picked off a deflected pass by Brown's James Perry and returned it 41 yards. But the Bears immediately put together a nine-play, 56-yard drive and tied the game on a 14-yard run by flanker Bill Rackley. Brad Grulke then recovered a fumble by Lafayette quarterback Brian Buczek at the Leopards' 48 and Kevin Coyne scored on a one-yard run six plays later. Lafayette pulled to within 28-21 in the third quarter on touchdown runs of four yards and one yards by Brian Tuma. But in the fourth quarter Brown linebacker Neil Finneran picked off a Buczek pass at the Lafayette 35. Five plays later, Michael Malan gave Brown some breathing room with a five-yard touchdown run. NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- There was no chance of a comeback this time. A week after Yale gave up 15 points in the final fives minutes in a one-point loss to Brown, the Elis ensured there would be no deja vu with Valparaiso on Saturday. Yale (1-1) instead racked up 369 passing yards, forced four fumbles and held the Crusaders to eight first downs to win 48-2. Yale starting quarterback Joe Walland completed 16-of-23 passes for 281 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception before leaving the game midway through the third quarter.
