The system allows students to add or drop classes with a single mouse click. Additionally, course listings and complete course descriptions are linked to the Penn InTouch main menu. Student Information and Systems, a division of the Office of the Vice Provost for University Life, developed the new scheduling system. It is designed to complement PARIS, the Penn Automated Registration Information System, which will continue to operate normally. The University is limiting Penn InTouch sessions to 30 minutes in order to deal with the large number of expected users. After the 30 minutes have elapsed, students must reenter their student identification number and personal access code (PAC) to continue. A "news flash" from the Office of the University Registrar encourages students to take advantage of the system at off-peak times, such as weekends and evenings. The system can be accessed through the Penn InTouch site at https://sentry.isc.upenn.edu/intouch. -- Jaclyn LaPlaca
