The practice can save the University money and provide superior specialty services, but student feedback and opinion should still be an important part of this institution. And it may prove difficult for student groups such as the Residential Advisory Board to have any control over services managed by a private company outside the University. As students pay thousands of dollars each year on service costs, and are the recipients of the services, it only seems fair and logical that their voice be heard. In the midst of all the restructuring and out-sourcing currently going on, we urge the University to remember the students -- the primary component and should-be focus of the University.
