The results of confidential HIV/AIDS testing, on the other hand, do have your name attached. The information should be kept private, but the risk exists that a future employer or an insurance company will someday find you name connected with positive test results. Or such an organization could decide that, since you felt the need to get tested, it follows that you are at risk. Student Health offers confidential testing -- but last week's overwhelmingly heavy turnout for free and anonymous testing indicates that the University needs more of this type of anonymous testing instead.
