After debate, the group voted to postpone the elections by a count of 13 to seven with three abstentions, according to GSAC President Michael Polgar. The election was postponed because GSAC wanted to give members more time to nominate candidates for office. All Executive Board positions except the Members-At-Large candidates are currently uncontested. According to Polgar, elections had originally been scheduled to begin yesterday. A resolution was also passed supporting better pay and job security for University language teachers. -- Jodi Bromberg
