Deborah Anderson will deliver a keynote address at 9:15 a.m. from the Annenberg School Auditorium, examining marketing for the environment. This will be followed by three sets of panel discussions lasting an hour-and-a-half each. Topics will include legal and policy issues, risk assessment and waste management. Panel members will include Carlos Augusto Santo-Neves, Brazilian ambassador to the United States, and Yasuhiro Shimizu, environmental attache of the Embassy of Japan. Private sector representatives will also be present, including speakers from the Dow Chemical Company and the Proctor & Gamble Company. The conference will provide information on opportunities resulting from environmental issues facing the international business community. The sessions will be held in Steinberg-Detrich rooms 350 and 351 beginning at 10:15 a.m. Admission is free to all University students and faculty. -- Robert Botel
