The presentation, which is open to the public, will also feature freelance illustrator Janny Wurts whose drawings will be released in an upcoming book. The 37-year-old Maitz has had 150 of his images published by several publishing companies and he recently won top honors for science fiction novelists. In addition, Maitz is known for his commercial art, being the creator of Seagram and Sons' "Captain Morgan" character. Vice President and Director of Publicity of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society, Sylvia Vega de Lombardi said yesterday that students are encouraged to attend the program because both featured individuals are "award winning artists with works of art on some of the most important science fiction works on the market right now." The presentation, which will include a tape and slide presentation followed by a question and answer period, will be held at International House located at 3701 Chestnut Street. It is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. and is free to the public. Larry Hayden
