Penn's oldest residential program, the Science and Technology Wing (STWing), held its annual Rube Goldberg competition this past weekend. The competition pit teams of students against each other to build a device that could dip an Oreo into milk. Judges included MEAM professor Dr. Mark Yim, CIS professor Max Mintz, and MEAM lecturer Graham Wabiszewski. STWing is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this academic year. 
Mask & Wig Club performed "A Comedy of Terrors" this past Friday night at the Mask & Wig Clubhouse. The show will run Fridays and Saturdays through April 10th.
Philadelphia hosted its annual Fashion Week last Monday through Saturday. The runway featured Luxe Men's, Ready to Wear, and Couture shows with a range of designers including Jaya Misra, Ken Laurence, and Lillie Designs.

Couples across campus tell their stories.
This past week, Philadelphia held its annual Auto Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. One of the top auto shows in the country, the Philly Auto Show displayed over 700 vehicles ranging from antiques to the newest models.
Penn Nursing held its first 5K run/walk this past Saturday morning as part of National Nurse Anesthesia Week. The event was hosted by student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNA's) from the University of Pennsylvania's Nurse Anesthesia Program in an effort to promote awareness about the nursing profession. 
This past Friday, Penn Museum held a preview of its newest exhibition "Beneath the Surface: Life, Death, and Gold in Ancient Panama." Three Penn undergraduates, Monica Fenton, Sarah Parkinson, and Ashley Terry, made major contributions to the exhibition, which features a 1940 dig at Sitio Conte, Panama. The exhibition opens to the general public on Saturday, February 7.
Penn's Campus Health, Athletics, Recreation, and the UA teamed up for a yoga and meditation event at the Palestra as part of Penn's "Year of Health." This free event began with two yoga sessions and ended with an hour of meditation. 
Penn's gymnastics team defeated Ivy rival Yale on Sunday, finishing with a score of 193.150 to Yale's 191.000.
Students experienced their first "snow storm" of the semester. Although some forecasts predicted over a foot of snow, the Penn community was greeted with only a few inches today.
