Burglary:

March 7, 2014: An unaffiliated 66-year-old male and an unaffiliated 63-year-old male were arrested at 11:04 p.m. at the Horizon House (120 S. 30th St.) after they were observed entering a building and taking a vacuum cleaner and accessories.

March 8, 2014: Two affiliated males and one affiliated female reported that laptops were removed from a locked room in DuBois College House at 5:00 a.m.

Sex Offense:

March 7, 2014: A confidential sex offense was reported.

Disorderly Conduct:

March 8, 2014: A 22-year-old male student and two unaffiliated males — one 20 years old, the other 19 years old — received citations at the intersection of 39th and Locust streets at 7:05 p.m. for fighting on the highway.

March 8, 2014: An unaffiliated 23-year-old male received a citation at 39th and Locust streets at 7:04 p.m. after he prevented an officer from effecting an arrest by intervening in an investigation after being told to back away several times.

March 9, 2014: An unaffiliated 44-year-old female was arrested at 3425 Walnut St. at 9:49 p.m. after she was observed approaching pedestrians asking for money, following warnings to stop.

Fire Incident:

March 8, 2014: A burnt item on a stove activated a smoke alarm at Harnwell College House at 7:00 p.m.

DUI:

March 11, 2014: An unaffiliated 48-year-old male was arrested after he was stopped for disregarding red lights at the intersection of 32nd and Market streets at 7:59 p.m. After investigation, the male was found to have slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.

March 13, 2014: An unaffiliated 53-year-old male was arrested at the intersection of 38th and Spruce streets at 5:46 p.m. when he crashed his vehicle into a construction site and failed a sobriety test.

Robbery:

March 13, 2014: An unaffiliated 65-year-old male was arrested on the 200 block of S. 34th St. at 7:57 p.m. after an affiliated 25-year-old female reported her wallet was removed from her person while on the highway. She noticed the male was walking away with her wallet sticking out of his pocket. When she confronted him, the male struck her in the face and then fled. Penn Police stopped and arrested the suspect.
