Hey Class of 2017! My name is Allyson Ahlstrom, I am a freshman at Wharton, and I’m super stoked to be running for Vice President of External Affairs! Freshman year is all about making friendships, uniting our class, and having the most amazing first year of college! So basically, you’re probably asking, what does the Vice President of External Affairs do? Well if I am elected, it means that I will be working to get corporate sponsorships of FREE FOOD, AWESOME T-SHIRTS, and COOL PENN SWAG for events all year-round! I have cool ideas for events, including a class-wide Hunger Games competition. In high school, I worked with many companies to receive in-kind donations for events for a non-profit I started, and can’t wait to bring my knowledge and expertise in this realm to class board, if elected.
