Life at Penn is great! Everyone is making friends, discovering new academic passions, and finding their niches here on campus. However, there’s nothing wrong with making great even better. My name is Louis Capozzi, and I am running for the Undergraduate Assembly with Varun Menon and Pratyusha Gupta because we know we can make the freshman experience even better: air conditioning for ALL freshman housing; better dining hall hours; a combination of Penn InTouch, Campus Express, and Student Health Services into one easily used student portal similar to what our peer universities use; a more interactive advising system for nursing and engineering students; better communication from Penn about opportunities like preceptorials, student groups, and career opportunities; and need-blind admissions for international students so that Penn can bring in the best talent regardless of socioeconomic status.
