Wharton's MBA program has reached the top, according to the Financial Times.
Despite having shared the premier spot with Harvard Business School's MBA program in 2005, Wharton surpassed its Harvard counterpart and is now ranked number one in the world, according to the publication.
Wharton's ranking in the FT took a dip after September 11 -- when the poor economy caused a deficit of job opportunities -- but has since then redeemed itself, according to the Jan. 30 article.
An improved global economy is fairing well for UK business schools, too, with the London Business School still number five in the world.
