The many recent news items concerning the plight of The School of Veterinary Medicine have raised voices throughout the University community. Many individuals have asked how they might assist us with our efforts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We're obviously pleased with the expressions of concern and ask that those wishing to help may do so by personally contacting their state senator and state representative and, in addition, send copies of all correspondence to the Senate and House leadership. Those individuals are: the Honorable F. Joseph Loeper, the Honorable Robert J. Mellow, the Honorable H. William DeWeese and the Honorable Matthew J. Ryan. Additionally, I would appreciate a copy of any correspondence sent or received. Should additional information on the School of Veterinary Medicine be needed, we have prepared a fact sheet which can be picked up from my office or by calling 898-0599. Many thanks to our friends and colleagues for waiting to assist us in this critically important situation. EDWIN ANDREWS Dean Veterinary School
