Philip Strax, author of two books on the subject, will be the main speaker. The program will also include a video on self-breast examinations, and a question and answer session. "It has been around forever and it is completely ignored," said conference director Jill Hammer, a College junior. "We need to get girls not to be afraid, and catch it at an early age." A raffle will be held at the end of the conference, and prizes include a trip to Atlantic City. Tickets are being sold today on Locust Walk, with the money going to form a new non-profit breast-cancer diagnostic clinic The conference, open to all students, will be held at 8 p.m. in Logan 17. -- Robert Botel
