Sports Update | M. Hoops drops fifth straight Ivy contest at Palestra in 87-79 loss to Yale

It was no secret that Yale was going to look to the paint all night long.

But few could predict how thoroughly the Bulldogs would dominate. They beat the Quakers, 87-79, at the Palestra tonight.

Yale's Ross Morin had his way down low, scoring 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds in a game that seemed to only take place on the foul line.

There were 55 fouls called in the game, and while both teams were futile from the charity stripe, the Bulldogs were just a little more proficient when it counted.

Penn forward Cam Lewis went to the line 12 times and connected on just four free throws.

"I just choked," he said.

Both Penn and Yale were effective from the field, however, shooting 55.2 and 57.1 percent, respectively.

The Quakers' lackluster performance leaves them winless at the Palestra in five Ivy contests.
