Brown stays on top with big win at Yale
A clear favorite has emerged in the Ivy League.
Ranked first for the second week in a row by the DP, Brown has kept its perfect 100 rating and extended its lead over new second-place team Princeton.
It is the highest position the Tigers have held this year.
Despite their identical records, Harvard has leapfrogged over Saturday's opponent, Penn, for third place. The writers had them dead even, but the computers gave the Crimson the nod.
After those two, Cornell also made a move this week, beating Dartmouth as Yale lost to Brown to hop over the Elis into the fifth spot.
Victoryless in the Ivy League, Columbia continues to drop even lower in the final ratings each week, continuing to set records. This week the Lions lost two more points to fall to 23.37, but they will still play a part in the title race.
Either the Lions or the Big Green need to beat Brown in the next two weeks or the Bears will clinch at least a share of the title.
