Auto TheftAuto Theft· January 21 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that his Volvo was stolen as it sat unsecured with the engine running at 4000 Pine Street at about 7:30 p.m. According to the complainant, a black man, approximately 5' 8" and 20 years of age with a gray hat and dark jeans entered the car as he was unloading it and fled west on Pine Street. Two surveillance videotapes of the scene were handed over to police.
