To the Editor: This may seem a minor point to some, but not to me. Personally, it is directly contradictory to my religious and philosophical beliefs to suggest any human being is worthless, or to assume the right to judge the worth of any other human being. I was trying to point out a logical fallacy, not pass judgement on others and their opinions. Had I been asked, I would have provided the written copy of my words on the spot. I suggest in the future care be taken to avoid such misrepresentation. I could never be a judgemental self righteous crusader, and yet this misquote paints that exact picture of me. Perhaps the reporter should consider the enormous power of words, the subtleties of expression which can change the meaning of an entire sentence with the change of a single letter, and handle them with the appropriate care and caution.
