U. students finish well in 100th Boston Marathon Engineering senior John Blouin said the event went "pretty well." He finished 829th out of 35,000 competitors. Engineering senior Bill Murphy was also pleased with his experience. Murphy was the 611th runner to cross the finish line. "It was really exciting at the beginning because the crowd was going crazy," Murphy said. "The last six miles were really difficult though." Terry McLean, an Engineering and Wharton graduate, had the best University time at 2:39. He was the 307th finisher. Engineering and Wharton senior Peter Kuperman finished with a time of 3:42. "The Boston Marathon was much tougher than the Philadelphia course," Blouin said. "The hills were the absolute worst." – Jaclyn LaPlaca Fugees tickets still available for $20 Tickets are still available for the Fugees' April 26 show at Irvine Auditorium, College senior Mike Parker said yesterday. Parker, director of concerts for the Social Planning and Events Committee, said there are approximately 300 tickets remaining for the concert. The show is the SPEC To Represent Undergraduate Minorities (SPEC-TRUM) annual Penn Relays concert. Parker explained that two types of tickets were available at first -- student tickets for $13 and general public seats for $20. However, the student tickets are now sold out. "The tickets can still be purchased by students," Parker said. "And they're not necessarily the 300 worse seats, either." Tickets can be purchased at the Annenberg Box Office. – Doree Shafrir
