The Bi-Cultural InterGreek Council elected Wharton junior Wayne Wilson its new president last week. Wilson has plenty of experience in the Greek system. He was the parliamentarian on this year's BIG-C executive board as well as secretary of the Greek Peer Judicial Board. Wharton junior Christina Cordero was elected vice-president of the BIG-C, an umbrella group of minority fraternities and sororities. She defeated Davis for the position. Cordero served as the representative to the BIG-C from her sorority, Sigma Lamda Upsilon. She also was recording secretary of the sorority. Only the president and vice president were elected last night. Outgoing BIG-C president Floyd Houston said the remaining four positions will be filled at a later date. Houston said the current executive board will meet to decide when the next elections will be. And the present board must also decide exactly when the new president and vice president will take over. Last night's elections were held in the BIG-C house. The house, located on 38th and Walnut streets, was formerly the home of the Acacia fraternity. Several BIG-C members have been living in the house since the beginning of this semester. – PAUL LaMONICA
