Day 1 in Iowa

 

The Daily Pennsylvanian is in Iowa. Check out some of our coverage.

  1. On day one, we took a tour of the Ben Carson campaign bus outside a packed rally in Des Moines, where we stumbled upon a Penn graduate.
  2. We were surrounded by Donald Trump buttons and action figures at a rally in Council Bluffs.
  3. We talked to Trump supporters who had nice things to say about the GOP front-runner.
  4. Ted Cruz advocated eliminating the Department of Education and Internal Revenue Service at a rally we attended Sunday night.
