Zack Rosen named Ivy League Player of the Week

For the fourth time in his career, senior Zack Rosen was awarded Ivy League Player of the Week honors.

In Friday's 73-66 win over Cornell, Rosen played a part in 26 straight points. He scored 17 points himself and assisted on nine. He scored 13 in the final four minutes of the game to come back from a four-point deficit and beat the Big Red. He finished with 25 points, six assists and five rebounds.

In Saturday's thrilling overtime victory against Columbia, Rosen had 14 points, six rebonds, and five assists. His biggest contribution to the game probably came when he drew a double team with 1.5 seconds left in overtime, freeing up Fran Dougherty under the net, who put Miles Cartwright's inbounds pass in the basket to win the game, 61-59.

Dartmouth freshman forward Gabas Maldunas was named Rookie of the Week after earning a double-double against Yale Friday with 23 points and 11 rebounds. He had eight points, nine rebounds and four blocks Saturday against Brown. The Quakers will get their second look at Maldunas Friday when they play the Big Green in Hanover, N.H. He had six points and eight rebounds against the Red and Blue the first time around.
