1. On Monday afternoon, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz asked for the resignation of his Communications Director Rick Tyler, after Tyler had posted and retracted a link to a post on The Daily Pennsylvanian’s DPolitics blog. In an effort to clarify the series of events that informed our reporting, The Daily Pennsylvanian has created a timeline of our account.

2. We asked, but only one group of you answered — and that group is definitely feeling the Bern. As part of our political coverage this election cycle, we have been asking for reader submissions telling us what they think of the election.

3. On Saturday morning, four Daily Pennsylvanian editors canvassed the University of South Carolina just hours before the Republican primaries in the state. We asked students how they felt about the current political atmosphere in this election cycle, and what issues mattered to them the most.
