Brandt claims Ivy Player of the Week in last game

 

A storybook ending to an otherwise disappointing season saw Penn Soccer's senior captain Thomas Brandt capture a trifecta of awards earlier today.

Brandt was named Ivy Player of the week for the second time in his career after scoring three goals in Saturday's game at Harvard. The defender not only led the Quakers for a come-from-behind victory, but also ensured that Harvard would remain winless in the Ivy play this year.

The Ivy nod was the first of a trifecta of awards for the 6-foot-1 Brandt. He also was named to the CollegeSoccerNews.com's National Team of the Week and Philadelphia Soccer Six Player of the Week.
