Ivy hoops wrap

Cornell gritted out a tough win over Columbia -- for the first time without 10-point-per-game guard Collin Robinson, who is apparently history in Ithaca. Yale put Brown in an early Ivy League hole.

And you probably heard by now what happened to Penn this weekend.

By Saturday, everyone except Penn and Princeton will have played two league games. Here's how things look now:

1) Cornell (9-5, 1-0) 1) Yale (7-8, 1-0) 3) Dartmouth (7-8, 1-1) 3) Harvard (6-12, 1-1) 5) Penn (5-11, 0-0) 5) Princeton (2-12, 0-0) 7) Brown (8-7, 0-1) 7) Columbia (7-9, 0-1)

Obviously, Penn fans should root for teams to beat up on each other as much as possible. Brown losing a game it shouldn't have was a step in that direction.

Some of my closest friends are in the Red and Blue Crew, but after Saturday, I think that more human capital needs to go into the rollout ideas. The RBC doesn't have to be as meticulous as St. Joe's fans, who had one complementing Rob Ferguson for scoring his 1000th point the previous game. But "Your rollouts suck"? Seriously?
