Anything but Uniform: Brown/Yale

Due to the stupid Ivy League rule about the visitors wearing white on Saturday night, the Quakers get to see the opposite colors that they did a year ago when they visit Brown and Yale

They begin the trip in Providence, R.I., against Glen Miller's former team, which will come out in their home whites. It's actually a pretty good look, with a good, but not too much use of the red accents, and I like the big brown waist stripe -- it's a little old-school, but that's ok with me.

The Elis are a very interesting case, though. Their home uniforms still the same from last year, in the same template as Texas.

But their road unis are different this year, and that is what the Quakers will see tomorrow night. Here's Yale's new blue outfits, which I think are a little weird.

Something just isn't right about these stripes, which are the same as found on Texas A&M's jerseys. (something about Yale and Texas, maybe it's George Bush) I like the Longhorns look better, and we'll see next year if this change comes to the white unis -- it's probably a money issue (like why Penn doesn't have red uinforms this year).
