Magic in the air

Breaking news! "Some say the Palestra 'is a place with magic in the air.' "

Also: "It is no secret that a huge factor in making the Red & Blue Crew one of the top student sections in the nation for student spirit is the historic Palestra, the home court of the Penn Quakers."

And in case you were wondering, "The Palestra offers nail-biting finishes to the very end" and "is certainly this and more."

As detailed in this press release, the Red and Blue Crew has been included in an ESPN.com school spirit poll, and Penn wants your vote.

I will ignore the fact that the Athletic Department wrongly gives credit to the Palestra, not the people inside it, for instituting the atmosphere.

I'll admit that I did go on and vote for the Quakers. But as far as language goes, a bit grandiose would be an understatement.
