Hello Hoyas!

 

The 2007 Penn football schedule was released today, and there is actually a change. The Ivy League portion is still the same, and Lafayette and Villanova are certainly familiar opponents, but it is Georgetown on Oct. 6 that is the surprise.

Penn has not played the Hoyas since 1937, and this game will break a string going back to 2001 of exclusively intrastate non-conference opponents (other than the special San Diego game in 2004) for the Quakers. It is a welcome change to an old routine and hopefully will be the first of a few changes to the schedule in the future.
