Miller lands fifth recruit

6-foot-5 swingman Remy Cofield of Roxbury, Mass., will join the Class of 2011, according to njhoops.com

Most of the online buzz on Cofield centers on his physique, which is said to be great for a wing.

With this addition, the competition at that spot could be intense in the coming years, since classmates Tyler Bernardini of San Diego and Dan Monckton of Illinois also fit in at the three spot. Right now, sophomore Tommy McMahon is the only true wing who gets any minutes for the Quakers.

Cofield is also Glen Miller's fifth recruit for next year, and the first-year coach may yet add to that number. If he does, the Class of 2011 could be one of the biggest in recent memory for Penn -- and it could end up resembling the classes Miler brought in when he was at Brown.

If that happens, let's just hope the higher attrition rates don't follow as well.
