Anything but Uniform:Cornell/FGCU

Penn finishes its football season up in Ithaca, N.Y., tomorrow against Cornell, who look like this at home. The Big Red have another relatively simple Ivy League uniform, but I do think the shoulder stripes are a nice touch. Also, there isn't too much black in the number outline and the helmet.

However, I think that maybe Cornell could have used its bear logo on the helmet, maybe spicing it up a little bit.

Meanwhile, back in Philadelphia, the men's basketball team tips off its home season against Florida Gulf Coast. The Eagles, who were pounded by Drexel on Wednesday, look like this on the road. I'm not a fan of the sea colors together, but what I do like is the puzzle-piece stripes down the side of the uniforms. It's a unique thing, but not too gaudy, which is always a strong addition to any uniform.
