Anything but Uniform: Columbia

Columbia plays its first road game of the year tomorrow when it comes to Philadelphia to take on Penn, and the Lions have a new look since the last time Penn saw them.

Columbia switched this season from Wilson to Nike, so they no longer look like the Tennessee Titans (no seriously, they're almost the same aside from the Titans wearing their blue pants that day)

Instead, the Lions look like a light-blue version of Dartmouth and a whole bunch of other Nike teams.

Basically, they went from bad to bad, and we'll see whether the Lions go white-on-blue or white-on-white, again, they still haven't played a road game four weeks into the season.

However, the helmets did improve, going from this to this, which is much nicer and matches the school's new athletic script.

So Penn will look a lot better than the Lions in uniform to go along with their likely football advantage, too.

Note: Sorry I screwed up Bucknell last week. Who knew the Bison would whip out a never-before-seen orange third jerseys. It won't happen again. Or maybe it will, but I'll try to make sure it doesn't.
