Penn's second-ever 'Campus Conversation' will kick off Mental Wellness Week on April 2

Penn Wellness — the umbrella coalition of student wellness clubs — will host the second Campus Conversation on April 2 to kick off the Mental Wellness Week 2018. The first Campus Conversation was hosted by Penn's administration last October in response to a string of student deaths, natural disasters, and political instability.

Euphoria spread across the wet streets of Philadelphia last night as the clock on the Super Bowl ran out, and it became clear that the Philadelphia Eagles had beaten the New England Patriots 41-33 in Minnesota. Penn students, staff, and faculty joined thousands of Philadelphians in every corner of the city as they celebrated the team’s first ever Super Bowl win. 


How campus reacted to Penn's decision to strip Steve Wynn and Bill Cosby of honorary degrees

In a historic move, Penn President Amy Gutmann and Chair of Penn's Board of Trustees David L. Cohen announced Thursday they would revoke the honorary degrees of Steve Wynn and Bill Cosby and remove Wynn's name both from the outdoor signage in "Wynn Commons" and from the scholarship fund his donation created.

Nearly a week after reports emerged of a decades-long pattern of alleged sexual misconduct by former Penn Trustee Steve Wynn, the University announced on Thursday that it will revoke Wynn’s honorary degree, which was granted in 2006, remove the name “Wynn Commons” from the common area outside Houston Hall, and remove Wynn’s name from the scholarship fund that he established by donation.
