'Wynn Commons' plaques removed from campus a year after Penn revoked Steve Wynn's degree

Penn removed two plaques that referenced "Wynn Commons" from benches outside College Hall on Feb. 4, following an inquiry from The Daily Pennsylvanian into the matter. The plaques will be replaced with "Penn Commons" over the next month, University spokesperson Stephen MacCarthy wrote in a subsequent email to the DP.

The University of Pennsylvania released a new draft policy centralizing sexual misconduct reporting in a single office, which would oversee investigations and resolutions of complaints against members of the Penn community. The new position of Associate Vice President for Equity and Title IX Officer would lead the office.

1982 College graduate Daniel Greenstein, newly elected chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, said his interest in higher education started when he was a history major at Penn. He was officially sworn in last week and now oversees and develops policies for the state's public universities.
