Protest covers Philadelphia after Ferguson announcement

(11/25/14 9:23am)

On Nov. 24, hundreds of people gathered in Philadelphia in protest after a St. Louis prosecutor announced a grand jury decision to not indict officer Darren Wilson, the policeman who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., this past August. The Daily Pennsylvanian was on the scene as crowds gathered at City Hall to hear the decision and then throughout the night as the protest covered the city. Below are images and videos of the protest, as well as a part of Mayor Michael Nutter's statement on Ferguson and interviews with protesters.
