The Chinese Lunar New Year begins on Jan. 25, 2020. Celebrations have already begun in Philadelphia, including at the Penn Museum and Reading Terminal Market. People were able to experience traditions and customs such as lion dancing, decorating with red lanterns, and writing calligraphy in Chinese characters. Here are some images from the two events.
