Penn College Republicans | Remember Biden’s failed promises when you vote in this year’s midterms

(10/27/22 2:39pm)

If you were to turn on cable television right now, you would learn very little of importance about the upcoming midterms. Sure, you would know that Mehmet Oz and Lt. Gov. John Fetterman have garnered national attention for their virulent attack ads aimed at landing them a position in the United States Senate. Guest Column by College Republicans | Why we invited Candace Owens to campus

(04/18/19 6:58pm)

Domestically, we have not dealt with pressing issues like social immobility, increasing poverty and aging social safety nets. Abroad, we are widely perceived as weak, ineffective and as an aging geopolitical placeholder waiting to be swept away by an ascendant Asia. What a time to become involved in Penn politics.

Guest Column | Respect, Resilience and the Republican Party

(11/05/12 7:01am)

In the spring of 1968, a French hospital received a young American visitor. This man was so badly injured from a head-on car collision that he was initially pronounced dead at the scene. The American — a 21-year-old Mormon missionary — eventually recovered and was left in charge of a mission that was demoralized and lost on the brink of failure.
