Both Penn’s men and women’s golf teams have had fluctuating success throughout the 2022-23 season. The women’s team finished at the front of 19 teams competing in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate Tournament, yet in their final invitational before the Ivy League Championships, the Quakers took the sixth spot — falling behind the other three Ivy League teams that competed.

Senior golfer Susan Xiao has had a lot of change in her life, moving from China to Canada to Florida to Penn, but one thing has held constant through it all: golf.

For some Penn baseball seniors, capitalizing off of the fifth year eligibility extension instituted by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic is in the near future. However, this extra year cannot be spent at Penn, due to an Ivy League policy prohibiting graduate students from participating in varsity sports. The only exception to this rule came for athletes in the class of 2021 who had the ability to play as graduate students in the 2021-22 season.

With about a month left in the Penn men’s (5-7) and women’s (9-4) tennis season, the teams are ramping up for a big run of Ivy League and non-conference matchups. Both teams have had outstanding records thus far at home, with both teams undefeated at the Hamlin/Hecht Tennis Centers.
