I was the class clown of 4015 Walnut Street. While my dear friends at the offices of The Daily Pennsylvanian Inc. were doing real jobs, I walked around the newsroom cracking jokes. My job as editor-in-chief of Under the Button was to be funny (and perhaps achieve our business and editorial objectives), but I don’t view my time at UTB as a vanity project. Beyond scoring a few laughs and filling a few backpacks with chili, UTB became an outlet to explore the more subtle virtues of being a class clown.

College junior Elizabeth Beugg has been elected as the editor-in-chief of Under The Button on the 135th Board of Editors and Managers. Joining her is Wharton sophomore Natalia Joseph, who will serve as the publication’s managing editor.

Earlier today, Harvard University sent an email to past applicants notifying them that their application information will be distributed in compliance with a court order. Harvard is currently defending against a federal lawsuit brought forth by Students For Fair Admissions, Inc., which calls the college's undergraduate admissions process into question.

On Sunday, an email sent by the Educators and Students Against White Genocide circulated around Harvard College. The email urged students to elect Donald Trump in an effort to stop "white genocide," The Harvard Crimson reported.

On Sunday, September 11, a student council representative announced that Columbia Health’s free tampon and pad distribution program had been shut down. By the following Sunday, the program had been rebooted.
