The Goddesses are especially pleased with us this week, for not only are we off of school on Monday and Tuesday, but Elizabeth Banks will be stopping by junior Ernest Owens's WQHS radio show later this afternoon. WHAT? Let's get Ernest's take on it: NO LIE, NO LIE, NO LIEEEEEEE!! YES! 2-Time Emmy nominated Penn alum, Tri Delta Soror, best known for her roles in the films Seabiscuit, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, [...] and Pitch Perfect abd television hits 30 Rock and Scrubs is going to be my SPECIAL GUEST FOR A VERY SPECIAL ONE HOUR EDITION OF RADIO ERNEST'S ROCK THE VOTE SPECIAL!!! During the interview, Banks gives a shout out to her alma mater to the accompaniment of a half-enthused round of applause. Apparently, her husband (also an alum) once interviewed Jon Stewart there, and subsequently deemed him too short for late-night TV. Just watch.

But how many of them have been featured in the July 2010 issue of Vanity Fair? NONE! For the aspiring billionaire super mogul in all of us, this month's issue has a rare interview with secretive hedge fund king and Penn alum Steven Cohen, complete with a photo editorial by the sought after (albeit financially illiterate) Annie Leibovitz.
