Go To Wharton And You Too Can Live In A Box

Did you apply to Wharton with dreams of someday living in a shipping container? If so, you're not alone.

Last year, Wharton grad Luke Iseman made that dream a reality. He and his then-girlfriend started Containertopia (which, tbh, sounds like a Container Store knock off) in Oakland as a way of navigating sky-high housing prices in San Francisco. It's truly a shock they didn't last as a couple, living in such close quarters and all.

Since then, Containertopia has grown to a village of 160...meaning there are at least 160 people who voluntarily live in DIY shipping containers. To each his own, right? So, Whartonites, if you're not sure you want to take that finance degree to Wall Street, rest assured you'll always have a home in Containertopia.
