Filly Friday

If you're in Philly then you're probably soaked right now, be it from the torrential downpour or the Life-Post-Don-Memo-and-Lee's tears. It's First Friday, if you're into that, but maybe take the night off. For tomorrow...

Saturday: It's something called Prison Food Weekend at Eastern State Penetentiary, which doesn't sound very appealing. But it's Ladyfest at the Rotunda, and we're all either a lady or the son of a lady, so what's not to like?

Sunday:  The LGBTQA Pride Parade, because, duh.

And for you retail junkies the Brooklyn Flea, known for its higher-priced "curated" vintage goods, is setting up shop in the Piazza at Schmidt's for summer Sundays. While it may be a patronizing hat-tip to a city with its own sizeable vintage stock, it's also a great place to find something unexpected.
