Yep, Maury Povich is donating $1 million to the Kelly Writers House to establish the Povich Fund for Journalism Programs. And there's nothing you $%!@&s can do to change his mind!
As one of our favorite alums, Maury (C'62) is all about serious journalism at his alma mater, and he and his wife Connie Chung visited previously for a writer-in-residence program in 2006. This time, the Huffington Post reports that he's shelling out the big bucks to fund seminars, workshops and other events at the Writers House. It's cool, 'cause he got it like that.
